Hi, My name is Alfred and I am passionate about Music. I am writing this because my wife believes that i must share some of my thoughts. All I want to do is to make music but I am married and that is important.
About 10 years ago, I made a song for an international television show and that opportunity made me never see music the same way again. I survive today because of making music for TV. I created the theme song for Project Runway South Africa and I cannot believe how much that changed my life. I realised that I can make more money from my music playing on tv shows than most likely on just releasing songs. I have big ambitions to make commercially successful music but in my quest for that, I cannot ignore the fact that making music for TV has taken care of me and my family in ways I cannot explain.
I have since made music and worked on shows such as The Remix SA, Mina Nawe House, Isitha – The Enemy, Rythm City, Ithonga and many others. I really enjoy the challenge of grafting a song that can evoke emotion or be perfectly suited for a scene that I have not even seen. I really hope I can get to do this on a bigger scale and bigger platforms, but for now i am thankful for every production house and fellow producers and artists that have said my names in rooms and thought of me when such projects are within their reach.
I am looking forward to releasing a number of music projects this year and have been working on collaborations with artists that truly inspire me.
